Studio Hire Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing House of Moon. We are honoured to share this beautiful healing space with you. We ask that every guest treats the studio with the same love, care and respect that it has been created with, leaving it ready for the next person to enjoy.
Studio Care
Please leave the studio in the same condition you found it.
We kindly ask that you vacuum the floor before leaving if needed, particularly after workshops or group events.
Please wash, dry and put away any cups, glasses or kitchen items you use.
Remove all rubbish and personal belongings at the end of your booking.
A £50 cleaning fee will be charged if the studio is left excessively dirty, rubbish is left behind, cups are left unwashed, or additional cleaning is required.
Booking Times
Your booking includes your set hire period only.
Your booking end time means the studio must be fully vacated by that time, including packing away equipment and saying goodbye to guests.
Please allow enough time for cleaning and resetting the space within your booking.
Late departures will incur a charge of £50 per additional 30 minutes.
Respecting the Space
Please use the studio only for the activity stated when making your booking.
The number of attendees must not exceed the number agreed within your booking.
Please respect our neighbours by keeping noise to an appropriate level when arriving and leaving the building.
Instruments & Equipment
Gongs and other instruments stored in the studio are not included in standard studio hire.
Please do not touch or use any instruments or equipment unless this has been arranged and confirmed in advance as part of your booking.
Crystal Singing Bowls, 2 x Koshi Wind Chimes and a rain stick can be hired at an additional fee.
Safety & Security
The hirer is responsible for the behaviour, supervision and safety of everyone attending their booking.
Aerial hammocks may only be offered with pre booking and agreement.
Hirers must ensure that participants receive appropriate instructions and are supervised when using the hammocks.
Before leaving, please ensure:
- All lights are switched off.
- Electrical equipment is turned off at the wall where applicable.
- Windows are closed (if opened).
- The studio is securely locked if instructed to do so.
Photography
You're very welcome to take photographs and videos during your booking.

Alcohol & Drugs
House of Moon is a wellness and healing space.
The use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or anyone attending under the influence is strictly prohibited.
Changes & Cancellations
All bookings are non-refundable.
Where sufficient notice is given (ideally several days in advance), we may be able to transfer your booking to an earlier available date. This is at House of Moon's discretion and cannot be guaranteed.
Liability, Insurance & Facilitator Responsibility
The hirer operates as an independent facilitator and is responsible for the safe delivery, management and supervision of their own class, workshop, event, treatment or other activity taking place during their studio hire.
The hirer is responsible for ensuring that they hold valid and appropriate professional and public liability insurance for the activities they are providing at House of Moon. It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that their qualifications, certifications and insurance are current and provide appropriate cover for their activities. House of Moon reserves the right to request evidence of insurance or qualifications.
The hirer is responsible for the health, safety and appropriate supervision of their guests, clients and participants during their booking, including providing any necessary safety instructions, assessing whether an activity is suitable for their participants and carrying out any appropriate risk assessments for the activities they provide.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the hirer accepts responsibility for any injury, accident, loss, damage or claim arising from their activities, instruction, supervision, participants or equipment during their hire of the studio.
House of Moon is not responsible for injury, accident, loss or damage resulting from the hirer's activities, negligence, inadequate supervision, failure to provide appropriate safety instructions, misuse of the studio or equipment, or failure to follow House of Moon's safety instructions and Terms & Conditions.
The hirer agrees to indemnify House of Moon, its owners, employees and representatives against claims, losses, damages, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from the hirer's negligence, activities, failure to adequately supervise or instruct participants, or breach of these Terms & Conditions.
Hirers are responsible for the studio, its contents and any damage caused during their booking. Any damage, breakages, accidents or injuries occurring during the hire period must be reported to House of Moon as soon as reasonably possible.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that House of Moon cannot legally exclude or limit, including liability for death or personal injury caused by House of Moon's negligence.
By confirming and/or paying for a studio hire booking, the hirer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Studio Hire Terms & Conditions.
